Hotelympia 2014 The Schwartz Flavour Combinations Challenge, sponsored by McCormick Flavour Solutions
Open to teams of two chefs, you will have 45 minutes to prepare, cook and present a two-course meal for two covers, which can comprise a starter and main course or a main course and dessert. Competitors must use the flavour combinations below, which have been taken from the Schwartz Flavour Forecast; one combination is to be used in each dish.
The combinations are:
- Smoked Tomato, Rosemary and Chilli
- Bitter Chocolate, Basil and Passion Fruit
- Sage, Cider and Molasses
- Artichoke, Paprika and Hazelnuts
- Katsu and Oregano
- Faro Grain, Blackberry and Clove
Samples of Schwartz products are available to all entrants*. All entries must be submitted with recipes, which will become the property of the sponsor.
The winners will receive an engraved trophy and publicity in the trade press. Your recipes will also be featured on the Schwartz website and will form part of the Schwartz recipe collection for 2014.
